Q. I just joined your website. A lot of good info. Would it be possible for you to list the auctions for 2 weeks or 3 weeks at a time? I have different days off every week, and if i knew the schedules more in advance it would be easier for me to coordinate going. Thanks for the great site!

A. Since we offer our trial memberships to new members, we are forced to publish the list one week in advance. We would love two publish the list two weeks in advance; unfortunately, there would be some people who would take advantage of the system. Another thing to keep in mind is that storage auctions are constantly being added and cancelled. By publishing one week at a time, you can rest assured that you are getting the most reliable and up to date schedule available.

  • I’m seeing the auctions starting at 9:oo AM, then 9:15, then 9:30. How can they possible have auctions that fast?

    • The auctions cannot begin before the time posted in the legal notice, but they can occur anytime afterward. The reason the auctioneer or storage facility has the times listed like this is in case there are only a few units at a facility or in case an auction or two gets cancelled. This way, the people in the caravan won’t have to wait very long for the next auction to begin. These times should not be taken literally. The best thing to do is to arrive at the first auction of the day and follow the group. If you want to attend a series of auctions that are already in progress, definitely call the storage facilities to found out which location the auctioneer is at.
